Since 1994, BC Tech has been delivering the Computers for Schools program, distributing over 150,000 computers to schools, non-profit organizations and other community groups.
In 2014, we re-branded to our legal name, BC Technology for Learning Society, to reflect all that we do- specifically that we provide MORE than just computers to MORE than just schools. We also launched our Computers for Students program to assist low income students access quality reuse equipment.
In March of 2016, Innovation, Science & Economic Development Minister, Navdeep Bains announced funding to deliver 7,500 computers across Canada by the end of the year to support Syrian families under the #WelcomeRefugees initiative; our part is 600 computers.
BC Technology for Learning Society is a registered charity, able to issue tax receipt for donations.
